LA Indie Shorts features a mix of live event screenings, online screenings, and a seasonal competition focused on independent short films globally. Every season, the festival announces the winners and honorable mentions across various categories. These nominees, winners, and honorable mentions receive additional marketing and screening opportunities at a cinema in LA or online.
The festival was established with a commitment to supporting, promoting, and showcasing both international and American short films globally. While the festival primarily emphasizes indie cinema, it also includes a competition for scriptwriters and artists to exhibit and gain recognition for their talents in short filmmaking on an international level.
