The renowned composer John Williams, who has won five Oscars, is celebrating his 30th film collaboration with director Steven Spielberg by creating the score for Spielberg’s upcoming UFO adventure film.

Although the film's title and storyline are still under wraps, Spielberg’s new movie, distributed by Universal Pictures, is set to premiere in theaters in 2026, as reported by Variety. The main cast includes Josh O’Connor, Emily Blunt, Colin Firth, Colman Domingo, and Eve Hewson.
The successful collaboration between Williams and Spielberg began in 1974 with The Sugarland Express and has continued with movies such as Jaws, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jurassic Park, Schindler’s List, Saving Private Ryan, and Lincoln.
In 2022, Williams began to retreat from film scoring and revealed during an interview that he prefers composing concert music over film scores. Nonetheless, he expressed openness to scoring a film if it piqued his interest.
