Latest Winners announced by Venice Shorts of LA

Venice Shorts of Los Angeles is a yearly event showcasing live screenings of short films from all genres at different venues in LA, such as the Fine Arts Theatre. It also celebrates and promotes short films through an IMDb-qualifying seasonal competition in partnership with the LA Indies magazine committee. The festival's alumni include Oscar winners and nominees such as Gus Van Sant, Jeremy Irons, Eric Roberts, Ross Kauffman, and Jessica Chastain. The festival aims to discover indie film projects and encourages established industry figures to participate in short film creation as producers, directors, actors, and writers. Venice Shorts has featured renowned film industry figures alongside emerging talents from the U.S. and internationally.
