Emerging from the aftermath of the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires and driven by a profound commitment to aid community recovery and preparedness, "A Disaster Diary: Learn. Pray. Prepare!" embarks on a personal and collective journey through trauma, resilience, and renewal. By integrating raw documentary footage, community voices, and reflective moments, this film encapsulates the emotional impact of disaster and channels it into a compelling call to action.

Combining elements of memoir, prayer, and emergency planning, this film encourages viewers to confront the increasing threats of disasters with faith, compassion, and courage. It serves as a tribute to those we have lost, those who have remained to rebuild, and those who will face future challenges.
This work is both intensely personal and profoundly communal—a genuine testament to survival, loss, and resilience following the devastating 2025 fires in Los Angeles.

Filmed entirely on an iPhone and edited using iMovie, this project is deliberately unrefined. Its immediacy mirrors the urgency inherent in disaster—featuring shaky frames, unfiltered moments, and candid testimony. While it may lack technical polish, it excels in authenticity, honesty, and human connection. The film captures communities uniting in the face of chaos: delivering supplies and Starlinks to neighbors without power, converting urgent care centers into sanctuaries, and transforming grief into action and prayer.

This powerful personal documentary, born from firsthand experience amidst wildfires and community upheaval, empowers viewers to transform fear into faith and crisis into purpose. Why undertake this project? Because the foundation for tomorrow’s survival is laid today.
