With today's politically divided country on just about every issue QUIRKS, a short comedic film, seeks to bridge the divide. Our common denominator is QUIRKS, the glue that binds humanity together. Follow the dating journey of the protagonist Cathy Singly, a middle-aged menopausal maelstrom who sees quirks in the men she dates, and of others in her life. She , however, is in fact quirky herself, and seems to be blinded by this, however, her quirks are very apparent to others. Steve Kwasnik is the director of the project and Cathy Fiorillo is the lead actress of Quirks.
Seventeen time nominated and two time Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award winning Producer/Director Steve Kwasnik, is a 30 year veteran of the entertainment industry. He has written, developed, produced, directed and edited numerous film and video productions, including the short film, "Heart of Gold" featuring the late Hansford Rowe. For seven years, Steve produced the highly successful weekly music series "On Tour" with nationally and internationally known musicians.
He produced & directed concerts with the Philadelphia Orchestra featuring Yannick Nezet Seguin, Branford Marsalis & Gil Shaham. He is currently a segment producer for WHYY PBS in Philadelphia and regularly works on broadcasts for NBC, CBS, ESPN, Fox & Bally Sports Networks. Steve is a graduate of Rowan University with B.A. in Communications and is also a member of SAG/AFTRA.
